ACybersecurity and Data Protection” certification holder is defined as an individual who knows and can support the implementation of appropriate ways/methods to protect computer networks and their programs from digital threats. Successful completion of the certification examination for the subject Cybersecurity and Data Protection’ demonstrates the basic knowledge of an individual to properly manage potential risks to IT systems and networks using digital technologies, with the objective of cybersecurity and data protection.

Indicative job duties include the following:

  • Dealing with cyber security incidents/situations
  • Implementing appropriate policies to ensure data protection in digital media
  • Participation in the implementation of security systems
  • Communication and cooperation with bodies and natural persons involved in data protection.

Conditions for taking the certification test:

  • Age: At least 18 years old
  • Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence.
