Modern Agricultural Practices- Crops

The holder of the certificate in the subject “Modern Agricultural Practices – Crops” is defined as the person who has the necessary knowledge to be able to manage issues related to modern practices in primary food production, such as soil management, in order to contribute to the production of quality food, while supporting the agricultural enterprise in which he/she works. The holder of this certificate will be able to contribute to the implementation of biosecurity procedures in the agricultural sector, as well as to manage operations aimed at the cultivation of plants and procedures to ensure a healthy environment for farm animals, taking into account in each case the support that the enterprise may receive from the development of technology in the sector. . Indicative job duties include the following:

  • Support for processes related to the production of agricultural products (such as irrigation).
  • Selection of appropriate agricultural machinery according to the purpose/use for which it is intended.
  • Participation in company procedures designed to support animal welfare.
  • Continuous information on issues related to modern agricultural practices.

 

 

Requirements for taking the certification test:

  • Age: At least 18 years old
  • Academic Degree or
  •  Age: 18 years and above and or
  • Graduate of optional secondary education as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and above and education/training of at least 60 hours or 6 months of professional experience in a related field. or
  • Graduate of compulsory education as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and education/training of at least 100 hours or 6 months of professional experience in a related field
