The successful participation in the certification examinations of the subject entitled “Ceramic & Pottery Techniques” proves the theoretical knowledge of the person involved in the design and creation of original ceramic everyday items and souvenirs. He/she knows which are the stages of production of an object, has basic knowledge about the properties of clay and the raw materials required, the tools and the ways of construction, as well as the ways of decoration.
Last but not least, he/she is able to know traditional and modern ways of baking and the function of the “ceramic kiln”.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
- Graduate of at least compulsory education (primary school until 1980 or from a third grade Gymnasium from 1981)
