Description:
The holder of the certification «Digital Inclusion in Digital Communities and Collaborative Spaces» is defined as the person who possesses the knowledge and skills required to support the management of digital communities, with the aim of promoting participation, accessibility, and the active inclusion of diverse social groups in digital environments and collaborative spaces.
Successful completion of the certification examination demonstrates that the candidate has the appropriate knowledge and skills to understand the basic principles of digital accessibility and inclusion, with particular emphasis on supporting vulnerable and digitally excluded populations. He/she is able to identify digital tools and collaborative platforms and understand the role of digital participation in strengthening the social fabric and enhancing social cohesion through digital tools and collaborative environments. Furthermore, he/she is capable of operating based on legal and ethical standards, ensuring the protection of personal data, digital security, and to respect diversity.
Indicative job duties include the following:
- Supporting the management of digital communities and collaborative spaces.
- Informing and guiding users on accessibility and the use of digital tools and platforms.
- Supporting the proper use of social media for the purpose of community empowerment and dissemination of initiatives.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
Be 18 years old or older and have/be:
- Academic Degree
or
- Graduate of an optional secondary school, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 50 hours in a relevant subject
or
- Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 80 hours in a relevant subject.
