Artificial Intelligence Applications in Adult Education and Training

The holder of certification in the specialty “Artificial Intelligence Applications in Adult Education and Training” is defined as an individual who is capable of understanding, utilizing, and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into adult education environments with the aim of improving the learning experience, learner support, and teaching effectiveness.

They are able to use modern AI tools for the creation, adaptation, and organization of educational material, to support the learning process through personalization technologies and learning data analytics, as well as to apply principles of ethical and responsible use of AI in the context of adult education and training.

Successful participation in the certification examinations demonstrates the individual’s ability to apply AI practices, tools, and techniques to enhance the design, implementation, and evaluation of adult education and training programs, both in face‑to‑face and distance learning.

His indicative job responsibilities include the following:

  • Utilization of AI tools for the creation, adaptation, and optimization of educational material.
  • Integration of AI applications in face‑to‑face and distance adult teaching.
  • Utilization of personalized learning systems and intelligent educational assistants.
  • Management of educational programs using AI tools for process automation and improved organization.
  • Provision of feedback and assessment through AI systems.
  • Identification and management of ethical issues related to the use of AI in adult education.

 

Prerequisites of the candidate

 

In order to participate in the examinations, the candidate must:

Be 18 years old or older and have/be:

  • Be a graduate of optional secondary education (e.g. upper secondary school) or higher

or

  • Be a graduate of compulsory education and have completed a training program in a related field (minimum duration of 80 hours).

 

*Note: Assessment of candidates in this specialty is conducted solely in Greek.
