Description:
The holder of the certification «Cybersecurity and Data Protection in Public Administration» is defined as the person who possesses the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to cyber threats, to implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal and public data, comply with legal and regulatory frameworks for privacy protection, and to contribute to the development of a cybersecurity culture within public organizations.
Successful completion of the certification examination for the subject «Cybersecurity and Data Protection in Public Administration» demonstrates the individual’s ability to implement security techniques in computing systems, to effectively respond to data breach incidents, to apply security policies, and to promote resilience, collaboration, and continuous cybersecurity training within the context of public administration.
Indicative job duties include the following:
- · Detection and response to cyberattacks and data breaches.
- Staff training and awareness on secure use of digital systems.
- Implementation of compliance procedures with the GDPR and national data protection legislation.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
Be 18 years old or older and have/be:
- Academic Degree
or
- Graduate of an optional secondary school, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 30 hours in a relevant subject
or
- Graduate of an optional secondary education with an educational orientation in a relevant subject
or
- Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 50 hours in a relevant subject
or
- Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and at least 6 months of relevant work experience.
