The objective of iCert is the certification of the knowledge of technical professions of natural persons, as defined in the General Regulation for the Certification of Persons and the respective Specific Regulations for the Certification of Persons (per Certification Scheme). The Management of the CPF, believing in the continuous improvement of the quality of the services provided, is committed to the following principles that constitute its quality policy:
- Independence of all those involved in the Certification Body’s activities from any influence to ensure their impartiality and integrity.
- Faithful implementation and continuous improvement of the Management System according to the Greek Standard ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17024.
- Continuous provision of services in compliance with the requirements of the accreditation awarded to the FPA by the ESMA.
- Ensuring both the impartial conduct of the tests and the transparent evaluation of the results.
- Use of appropriate equipment and provision of appropriate infrastructure for the implementation of FP activities.
- Provide all necessary information and information to applicants, candidates and certified persons.
- Involvement of appropriately trained staff to provide the services described in the FP Management System.
- Evaluation of those involved in the activities for the certification of persons under the accredited FP Management System.
- Compliance with all necessary safety rules.
- Valid handling of complaints or objections based on documented procedures.
- Continuously informing the staff of the FP on the content of the Management System and the requirements for their participation in it, in the context of the implementation of its objectives.
- Provide all necessary resources and means to implement the policy and to ensure the impartiality and integrity of the FP.
This policy sets out the framework and principles of impartiality, confidentiality and security that are mandatory for all FP staff in any employment relationship, including the Certification Board, the Impartiality Assurance Committees and the Scientific Committees of the respective Certification Scheme.
All information and data of applicants, candidates, certified persons and clients of the FIU, in any form (e.g. document) and on any medium (e.g. electronic) related to the certification process are considered confidential.
In this regard, iCert management, iCert staff, employees and partners are committed to:
- not reveal, communicate or reproduce any information or data to unauthorized persons and organizations without the prior written consent of the person or organization to which the information belongs,
- safeguard and protect any confidential information that comes to the knowledge of the FIU in the performance of the duties of its staff (employees and partners) from unauthorized persons,
- keep records and documents containing confidential information in a properly secured place to prevent their use, destruction, loss or acquisition by unauthorized persons,
- immediately inform their supervisors and the management of the FIU in the event of the loss or acquisition of confidential information by unauthorized persons and
- maintain the confidentiality and security of the relevant information in a confidential manner, even after the termination of the cooperation (of an employee or partner) with the FIU

The certified should:
- act professionally and ethically
- seek and pursue the recognition, development and prestige of the profession
- undertake those items for which it is certified and/or not use its certification for an item other than that specified in the certification scheme. More importantly, not to accept work for which it is not competent
- inform and not conceal from his/her clients and/or clients of his/her employer possible conflicts of interest
- not to reveal any information that is confidential, unless otherwise required by law or by agreement with the person(s) involved
- not to accept any form of pressure (money, gifts, etc.) from anyone that could affect his/her professional judgment
- its service is fair and professional based on objective criteria
- not to act in a manner that could affect or damage the reputation of the certification body of persons or the certification process and to cooperate in any investigative efforts when a breach of the Code of Conduct occurs
- comply with the relevant provisions of the relevant Certification Scheme
- keep a full and reliable record of complaints or objections relating to the provision of its service.
- not to use the certification in such a way as to bring the FIU into disrepute, and not to make statements about the certification that the FIU considers misleading or unacceptable
- discontinue the use of any of its claims related to the certification that contain any reference to the CPF or the certification after the suspension or withdrawal of the certification, and return any certificate that has been issued by the CPF
- not to use the certificate it holds in a misleading manner
