The holder of the certificate “Natural Gas Specialist – Theoretical Level” is defined as a person who possesses the necessary knowledge of the transmission systems, maintenance and safety of natural gas installations in order to participate in the proper and safe operation of these installations. . Considering that the use of natural gas compared to other fossil fuels leads to lower carbon dioxide production, this person is involved in serving various human needs (such as heating, for example) using environmentally friendly techniques.

The The “Natural Gas Specialist – Theoretical Level” will be able to deal with and carry out tasks related to the equipment and protection of natural gas transmission and distribution networks and will be able to identify the risks arising from the use of natural gas, while taking care to participate in the mitigation of these risks. Indicative job duties include the following:

  •  Involvement at the suggestion and guidance of persons authorized to draw up designs, construction and control-inspection of gas installations in facilitating their work.
  •  Supporting actions implemented in order to comply with this legislation.
  •  Participation in emergency measures (such as a gas leak).

 

 

Requirements for taking the certification test:

  • Age: At least 18 years old
  • Academic Degree or
  • Age: 18 years and above and or
  • Higher education graduate as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence or
  • Graduate of a post-secondary or secondary vocational school/educational institution as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence, oriented towards a subject related to the subject of certification.
