The holder of the certificate in the specialty “Road Safety in Modern Times” is defined as the person who possesses the necessary knowledge to be able to manage tasks related to the promotion and implementation of road safety measures.
The person certified in “Road Safety in Modern Times” will be equipped with the necessary knowledge to be able to recognize and contribute to solving problems related to road safety, to contribute to the improvement of road traffic and to facilitate its services immediate assistance. The certificate is aimed at people who work or want to work as (indicatively): employees in traffic education parks, employees in road safety customer service and support centers, as well as in traffic monitoring and management services.
Possible work duties of the specialty include the following:
- Providing information and guidance on road safety measures.
- Traffic data monitoring and analysis.
- Promoting the use of means of transport, as an alternative to cars.
- Information services on modern systems/equipment to improve road safety.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
- Age: At least 18 years old
- Graduate of at least optional secondary education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence
