The holder of a certification in the specialty “Cloud Computing Officer for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”is defined as a person who is capable of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the selection, secure use, and regulatory compliance of Cloud computing services. They are able to identify the main risks associated with Cloud technologies, evaluate solutions according to the needs of the business and implement best practices for the protection of data and information systems.
Successful participation in the certification exams for this subject demonstrates the individual’s ability to effectively utilise cloud infrastructure and services to achieve operational flexibility, compliance with institutional standards and ensuring digital security.
His indicative job responsibilities include the following:
- Identifying appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for the needs of small businesses
- Supporting the selection, deployment and utilisation of cloud solutions
- Implementing security policies for data and operations protection
- Monitoring risks and supporting risk-management planning
- Training staff on fundamental aspects of safe Cloud use.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
Be 18 years old or older and have/be:
- Academic Degree
or
- Graduate of at least compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 50 hours in a relevant subject.
* In this sub-scheme, is given the possibility to the candidate to be evaluated either in Greek or in English. In case the candidate chooses to be examined in the English language, it is recommended that his/her level of knowledge in English is at least B1 (moderate knowledge).
