Successful participation in the certification examinations for this field demonstrates the individual’s ability to implement end‑to‑end data analysis processes, from the stages of data collection and cleaning to the production of visualized results and the formulation of conclusions or improvement proposals, with emphasis on the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
His indicative job responsibilities include the following:
- Collection, organization, and management of data from different sources within an organization or a business.
- Use of charts, diagrams, and dashboards for results visualization and support of evidence-based decision-making.
Data cleaning and preparation for analysis, using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Development or support of data analysis applications specifically tailored to the needs of SMEs.
Prerequisites of the candidate
In order to participate in the examinations, the candidate must:
Be 18 years old or older and have/be:
- Be a graduate of optional secondary education (e.g. upper secondary school) or higher
or
- Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 60 hours in a relevant subject.
