The holder of a certificate in the speciality of “Sustainable and Green Trade Officer” is defined as a person who has the knowledge and skills to implement sustainable trade practices, integrate green strategies into commercial activity and contribute to the responsible environmental and social functioning of businesses.
Successful participation in the certification exams for this subject demonstrates the individual’s ability to understand the principles of sustainable and responsible trade, the importance of environmental responsibility, corporate social responsibility practices, and the institutional and regulatory framework governing the sector. At the same time, they have an understanding of the principles of sustainable consumption and the role of the consumer in the transition to a more responsible trade model. They are also familiar with the use of innovation and new technologies for sustainability promotion, as well as methods for measuring and evaluating performance in the commercial sector.

- Integrating sustainable trade practices into business processes
- Implementing green strategies
- Promoting sustainable consumption and responsible supply chains
- Participating in the implementation of corporate social responsibility actions

Requirements for taking the certification test:
Be 18 years old or older and have/be:
- Academic Degree
or
- Graduate of optional secondary education (e.g. Vocational High School), as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence with an educational orientation in a related subject
or
- Graduate of compulsory education, as applicable in his/her country of origin or residence and completion of a training programme of at least 40 hours in a relevant subject.
