The certification in the field του «Ειδικού Συστημάτων Ηλεκτρονικού Εμπορίου» αποδεικνύει of “E-commerce Systems Specialist” demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills that the employee must possess in order to be employed in the E-commerce sector, to be appointed as an E-commerce Officer, E-commerce Manager or in another relevant role.
The E-Commerce Officer is responsible for the design, development, management and administration of the E-Commerce system. He/she understands the opportunities and the challenges of e-commerce and proposes the appropriate business model for the needs of the company. He/she selects the appropriate technologies, mechanisms and tools. He/she proposes E-Commerce applications for both retail sales development and transactions between businesses. He/she coordinates marketing and advertising for E-Commerce and directs internal and external business partners. He/she oversees electronic payment systems and security systems. Ensures the management of orders and the performance of the e-commerce system. Finally, he/she is responsible for the selection of appropriate partners and the management of the relevant support staff for the e-commerce system.
Requirements for taking the certification test:
- Graduate of at least compulsory education (primary school until 1980 or from a third grade Gymnasium from 1981)

* In this sub-scheme, is given the possibility to the candidate to be evaluated either in Greek or in English. In case the candidate chooses to be examined in the English language, it is recommended that his/her level of knowledge in English is at least B1 (moderate knowledge).
